It's the community spirit that sets us apart... the people that live in, work in and visit our village all agree.
The beautiful gardens, the views, the location are all fantastic! But it's the sense of community that makes all the difference...it's a perfect combination of personal privacy and community involvement.
How do we do it? Together... The Village has been operating since 1968 and is owned by Blue Mountains Villages Limited, a registered charity that is non-sectarian and not affiliated with any other organisation.
For more than 40 years the Village has operated successfully as a 'community'. Our residents are members of the Village, and have the right to have a say in the operation and development of the Village.
Social Activities
Happy hour on the last Thursday of each month;
Keep fit exercise classes;
Movie afternoons;
Mindful Art Group;
Regular BBQ days in the Community Garden;
Monthly bus trips;
Music appreciation sessions;
Christmas celebrations;
Open garden day in Spring;
The Annual Hospital Auxiliary Quilt Show held in September each year; and
Fundraising Activities i.e. Laura Harvest Festival, fashion sales and parades, presentations from guest speakers, etc.
