Blue Mountains Retirement Village (BMRV) is a registered charity, not for profit organisation.The BMRV functions under the leadership of a Board comprising of nine voluntary Directors. Collectively, the Directors take ultimate responsibility for:

  • Adhering to a set of ACNC Governance standards to promote public trust and confidence.
  • Developing the principles of good governance by provide leadership to management to enable them to understand the organisation’s mission and values and to assist them to development an appropriate strategic direction.
  • Committment to a standard of care and diligence to ensure the comfort of residents residing at the village.
  • Commitment to legal duties and transparency when reporting, financial and performance information.
  • Ensuring we maintain the philosophy of the founders of the BMRV in providing affordable housing for people over the age of 55yrs.
